Information we may collect

Depending on the features you use, we may collect account identifiers, email address, subscription/entitlement status, device and browser information, security logs, feature usage, saved filters, support communications, betslip images you choose to upload, and research-history data you choose to save.

Payments

Payment card information is processed by the applicable payment provider (such as Stripe, Apple or Google). BLACKSTAR should store only the identifiers and entitlement information needed to recognize your subscription, not full payment-card data.

How we use information

We use information to operate and secure the Service, authenticate users, provide subscriptions and Family Legacy access, improve reliability, prevent abuse, provide support, measure product performance and—where permitted—send product or marketing communications.

Sports and market data

Live sports and odds data comes from third-party providers. BLACKSTAR may store source identifiers, timestamps, normalized market records and derived research metrics for audit and product improvement.

Sharing

We may share limited data with infrastructure, analytics, customer-support, payment, email and app-store providers acting on our behalf, and when required by law. We do not sell conversation-like private account content as a data brokerage product.

Retention

We retain information only as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes above, legal obligations, fraud prevention, dispute resolution, security and legitimate audit requirements. Uploaded betslips may be deleted or de-identified according to product settings and retention controls.

Your choices

You may request access, correction or deletion of eligible account data. You can opt out of non-essential marketing communications. Certain audit, fraud-prevention, transaction or legal records may be retained where required.

Security

We use access controls, encryption in transit, secret separation, logging and least-privilege practices. No system can guarantee absolute security.

Children

The Service is not intended for children under 18.

International use

Your information may be processed in countries other than your own. Appropriate contractual or technical safeguards will be used where required.
